What day is it?!

It’s apparently Friday and not Saturday, so that’s a bonus? Here’s a summary of the current week:

  • The oldest finished 2nd grade on Wednesday.

  • Day 1 of summer was mostly successful:

    • we had brunch at Peloton (always amazing!!)
    • we made banana bread and bran muffins.
    • saw the orthodontist.
    • saw the ear piercer - posts had to be swapped?
    • saw and played with friends for a quick minute.
    • played soccer at the park with the youngest.
    • watched the final Harry Potter movie.
    • had planned to go to the pool but that was vetoed - (ahem -first day of summer)

  • This am we baked the muffins and hit the gym.

  • Then we went to the Soccer watch party at pacific place which was packed but the girls eventually settled in and even got to participate in some of the kiddo focused activities!

  • USA won - yay. While happy to see them playing well, I thought the performance was pretty uneven and they benefitted from their opponent missing a ton of shots. Hoping they continue to improve and gain confidence.
